Gihana Khan's role inspired by a Bar Dancer

Gihana Khan's role is inspired by popular bar dancer Tarannum Khan. Tarannum is said to be the richest bar dancer in India who has worked in Deepa Bar from Vile Parle, Mumbai. Though, Gihana Khan and Sachin Joshi refuses the acclamation and says only inspiration is taken from the bar dancer.

Gihana Khan said "I am very blessed to get such a good role for my debut movie Mumbai Mirror. If I would have not got this role, I would have surely seen it with my friends and family. The character played by me is very meaty and different. Its not a common love story. The movie is based upon real life characters."
