In an interview, Mahesh Bhatt admitted that Murder 3 is a remake of Spanish Thriller movie La Cara Oculta. The Spanish movie was released in 2011 and was a hit at the box office. Mahesh Bhatt has officially bought rights of the movie La Cara Oculta which means The Dark Side.
Mahesh Bhatt says that movie is not exactly copy and paste. He has used the story of the spanish movie and have made a unique and different movie out of it. Murder 3 is the best movie out of the earlier 2 movies in the franchise. Vishesh Bhatt has directed the movie, who is the nephew of Mahesh Bhatt. The movie is a suspense thriller movie.
